My house burned down and other personal events occurred, so I decided I will delay the starting date for the Kickstarter Campaign for Camelot. I will plan on launching the campaign this June October, but it is hard to say for sure at this point. The Kickstarter campaign is a campaign to fund the game. If successful, people who contribute money are given rewards (copies of the game). Continue reading
My House Burned Down
I had copies of Crazier Eights: Camelot prototypes and prototypes of a couple expansions to give to playtesters and reviewers, but I wanted to order some cards that were updated. I got them, but I was too busy to send them out to more than one person. Then my house burned down Tuesday night. I lost everything except some copies of the original Crazier Eights game I had published that were either in my car or at a storage location. You can still buy copies of Crazier Eights on this website here. Continue reading

Logo for Camelot (the Second Edition)
The Second Edition will now be called Crazier Eights: Camelot. For more information go here. Here are some ideas for logos that say Camelot. The main logo is still the regular Crazier Eights logo, but the set will have its own logo. Which one do you prefer?
Crazier Eights: Camelot
I have decided that the Second Edition of Crazier Eights should have a clear theme. It already had multiple characters from the King Arthur stories and I increased the Arthurian theme. Some of the cards that already had an Arthurian theme have been changed, the card images of some cards have been changed to be more consistent with the Arthurian theme, some cards have been renamed to have an Arthurian theme, and some cards were replaced to have more cards with the Arthurian theme. Ideas for the Kickstarter Relaunch
One of the questions is what I did wrong for the Second Edition Kickstarter, which is highly related to the question about what will be improved when I decide to try again and re-launch. There will be more time to investigate what else can be improved, so this is just about what I know about at this point in time. In particular:
- The video wasn’t the best
- The following wasn’t the best
- The name might not be the best

Continue reading
Ideas for an Egyptian Expansion
This expansion will be considered for a stretch goal for the Crazier Eights: Camelot Kickstarter campaign this October 2016.
Right now I am calling it “Valley of the Nile.” The expansion is a collection for around fifteen cards that can be mixed with the Second Edition of the game. The cards could very well be used with the First Edition of the game as well, but two different manufacturers made the First Edition, so the card stock could be somewhat different in quality. Using opaque card sleeves might help avoid that issue.
There are a couple different ways I can make the expansion:
