I am working with an artist, Amit Ghadge from Crimson Studios, to develop a new look for Crazier Eights. That is a bigger undertaking than it might sound. I not only need cards of different colors and multicolored cards, but I want Wild Cards to look different, split cards, and jumbo versions of those cards. It is taking a lot longer than expected and will hopefully end up somewhat affordable. Continue reading

I will give one copy of the original Crazier Eights games as prizes to those currently subscribed to the newsletter this December. The winner will be determined on January 1st, 2017. Continue reading
The official Crazier Eights Facebook group can be found here. This is often the best way to keep up with any updates and give me feedback regarding future versions of Crazier Eights.
One person who joins the group will get a free copy of the original version of Crazier Eights. Terms and conditions can be found here. The prize will be determined at the start of 1 January 2017.
There will be more future opportunities to get prizes for those who join as well!

You currently start with seven cards in hand. That’s the standard way of playing the original Crazy Eights game, and the original Crazier Eights game was also released in 2014 with that rule.
Changing the rule goes against the tradition of the real Crazy Eights game and the official rules I already posted for the game in the past. Videos posted in the past would be outdated as well.
However, some have suggested starting with eight cards would be better. The game is called Crazier Eights, and the idea of starting with eight cards has an aesthetic appeal. It could slow the game down a tad , so I could look into speeding it up a little more. Continue reading
Update (6/19/17): See the card images here.
I finished a rough draft Avalon, a new 15-16 card expansion, based on the King Arthur stories. It is specifically made with Crazier Eights: Camelot in mind, but could be mixed with any version of Crazier Eights to have larger variety of cards. An expansion also increases the number of players the game handles by one, so Crazier Eights with the expansion mixed in is enough cards for five people to play the game. Continue reading
I am going to pay someone to make new card frames for Crazier Eights before I re-launch the Kickstarter for Crazier Eights: Camelot. There are two artists who currently have an interest in making card frames for Crazier Eights, and I paid them to sketch some ideas. I want your feedback for which option you prefer. Take a look below. Continue reading

I didn’t get enough funding to produce Crazier Eights: Camelot, so I will re-launch the Kickstarter campaign for Crazier Eights: Camelot in two to three months. I am looking into doing a better job promoting the game and/or improving the look of the game. Continue reading
