Can we get 100 follows on Facebook?

advanced assets

See the cards above? Those are cards in the Advanced Crazier Eights prototype. If we can get 100 follows on the official Crazier Eights Facebook page within the next five days, then I will make a spoiler for the Advanced Crazier Eights prototype. The Advanced version has 54 different cards — every card has a different effect on the game (and the colors don’t have the same cards). That’s different from the First Edition, which has thirteen different cards, and each of the four colors has the same cards.

The final day of this offer will be Thursday 9-18-2014.

I made a spoiler and print & play available for the Second Edition of Crazier Eights because I got 50 likes on Facebook. Now I am making an offer to get the spoiler for Advanced Crazier Eights.

Advanced Crazier Eights Spoiler

y8 armageddonUpdate (7/21/15): The Advanced version is now going to be the Second Edition. You can see the spoiler here.

Advanced Crazier Eights is related to various stretch goals on the Crazier Eights Kickstarter Campaign. Here are eight cards from the Advanced Crazier Eights prototype. Three of them were already shown, and five of them are here because there’s now 30 likes on the Crazier Eights Facebook page, and five will be shown for every 25 likes on the Facebook fan page. (That’s a good place to keep in touch and let me know what your preferences are.) Continue reading

What is Advanced Crazier Eights? (Updated 6/28/14)

titania2Update (7/20/15): Advanced Crazier Eights is now known as the Second Edition. Go here to see the spoiler.

Advanced Crazier Eights is one of the versions of Crazier Eights that I have been working on. Advanced Crazier Eights is very similar to the regular version of the game, and has some of the same cards as the regular version. However, the regular version of the game has thirteen different cards in four different colors. Advanced Crazier Eights has fifty two unique cards, and it has a somewhat higher difficulty level because there is a greater variety of card effects. Some of the card effects add new elements to the game. Players who thirst for variety and complexity will likely prefer the advanced version of the game. Continue reading
