The Historical Development of Crazier Eights (Part 2)
I discussed how I worked on games similar to Crazier Eights for about ten years before I published it as my first official game here. The version of the game I had at that time did not end up being the final version either. Additionally, there also was a lot of playtesting and changes to the game that were not discussed just over that year, and it has continued over the last couple of years. The newest version of the game Crazier Eights: Camelot is based on a version of the game I developed in 2013, and I have been working on it for a few years. There were five main versions of what ended up as Crazier Eights: Camelot, which I will discuss here. Continue reading

Two Gun Pixie Plays Crazier Eights: Camelot
Two Gun Pixie has tried Crazier Eights: Camelot and posted the video to their Facebook page. They enjoyed the game and recommend it as a gateway game. Go here to take a look (or see the video below).
Crazier Eights: Camelot will have a Kickstarter campaign this October.
The Future of Crazier Eights
I am working on new versions of Crazier Eights in addition to expansions. New versions include at least fifty two unique cards, and new expansions include fifteen unique cards. Part of the appeal of Crazier Eights is the wide range of themes that can be used, similar to Fluxx, which is a good excuse for having new versions and expansions with strong themes. The next version will be Crazier Eights: Camelot, but there’s more versions I am also working on. Let’s take a look. Continue reading

The first player with zero cards in hand wins, and every card will have a unique ability. I self-published the first edition in September 2014. Go here for more information about Crazier Eights.
The current spoiler with all the card images can be found here.
The current rules card and rule book can be found here.

Crazier Eights: Camelot Kickstarter Campaign Delay
My house burned down and other personal events occurred, so I decided I will delay the starting date for the Kickstarter Campaign for Camelot. I will plan on launching the campaign this June October, but it is hard to say for sure at this point. The Kickstarter campaign is a campaign to fund the game. If successful, people who contribute money are given rewards (copies of the game). Continue reading
My House Burned Down
I had copies of Crazier Eights: Camelot prototypes and prototypes of a couple expansions to give to playtesters and reviewers, but I wanted to order some cards that were updated. I got them, but I was too busy to send them out to more than one person. Then my house burned down Tuesday night. I lost everything except some copies of the original Crazier Eights game I had published that were either in my car or at a storage location. You can still buy copies of Crazier Eights on this website here. Continue reading
