Avalon Print & Play

Print & Play files let you cut out the cards to use for yourself. They tend to be put under sleeves on top of other cards, but you can also paste them on top of other game cards.

Crazier Eights: Camelot Information

camelot cards5Crazier Eights: Camelot is a stand alone version of Crazier Eights, an easy fantasy card game. It has a theme inspired by the stories of King Arthur. It has 52 cards, enough for a four player game.  (Retail price: $15.)

There are several cards inspired by the King Arthur stories, such as Queen Guinevere, Merlin, and Mordred, the enemy of King Arthur.

Crazier Eights is a gateway fantasy card game similar in some ways to Crazy Eights. The first player with zero cards in hand wins. Additionally, every card may be played for an ability. The abilities are creative and interesting. They are ultimately based on what the card represents, and they are similar to those found in much more complex fantasy card games.

Crazier Eights: Camelot is estimated to  be released on October 20th, 2017.

Pacificon Game Expo Events

avalon cards4Multiple versions of Crazier Eights will be featured in events at Pacificon Game Expo. Pacificon will be held on September 1-4 at the Santa Clara Mariott hotel (2700 Mission College Boulevard, Santa Clara, CA, 95054). The events will be the following:

  • 9/1/17, 2:00 PM: Crazier Eights (first edition).
  • 9/1/17, 5:00 PM: Crazier Eights: Camelot
  • 9/2/17, 2:00 PM: Crazier Eights: Camelot & Avalon
  • 9/2/17, 7:00 PM: Crazier Eights: One Thousand & One Nights
  • 9/3/17, 2:00 PM: Crazier Eights: One Thousand & One Nights, & Shahrzad

I will also be playtesting Crazier Eights at the Protospiel room.

Crazier Eights: Camelot Samples

Revised Avalon Card 1I made the down payment with DoFine, the manufacturer that will print Crazier Eights: Camelot & Avalon. I estimate that the games will be officially released by October 20th, 2017.

I sent them the files needed to make the games. There was a problem with the box templates that I used, but I think I fixed the files.

They printed some samples and should be sending them to me. You can see some of the samples below. Continue reading
